The Suomi M31 9mm submachine gun was adopted by Finland in 1931 and used to great success in both the Winter War of 1940 and World War II. TGI is proud to bring to the US market, for the first time ever, a semi-automatic version of this prized Finnish weapon. Our Suomi M31 is carefully crafted with a new milled receiver and a redesigned barrel shroud to satisfy the 16" barrel length. The Old World quality of the Finnish hardwood and deep luster of the blued metal makes this gun a work of art. It feeds 9x19mm ammunition from a 36 round stick magazine (TGI Product No. 03-FD-004) or a 70 round drum (TGI Product No. 03-FD-005). Both magazines are widely available and inexpensive. The rifle will ship with one 36 round magazine.
